'Little Leaps' Kindergarten Transition to School Program
The highly regarded 'Little Leaps' Kindergarten Transition Program runs during Term 4 for students who are enrolled in Kindergarten at Lavington Public School for the following year.
You can enrol your child any time using the Online Enrolment Application, or by contacting our office.
Lavington Public School has three specialist Kindergarten teachers who are Early Childhood trained with a combined 60 years experience teaching Kindergarten.
We are proud to offer children starting Kindergarten five tastes of school opportunities through our tranistion to school program 'Little Leaps'.
- Session 1, 9.30am - 10.30am: Orientation
- Session 2, 9.30am - 10.30am: LIteracy
- Session 3, 9.30am - 10.30am: Numeracy
- Session 4, 9.30am - 10.30am: Fine Motor Skills
- Session 5, 9.30am - 10.30am: Creative Arts

- Prior knowledge of the school they will be attending;
- Play and planned curriculum continue to meet children's developmental needs;

We also offer three parent workshops as we acknowledge that this is a big transition not only for the child, but also the family.
